– Visitor parking is also available at Westmead Public Hospital. Which is approximately 5 minutes walk to/from the center.
Sydney Metro
The new Sydney Metro which already operates in the North West (Castle Hill, Bella Vista and Kellyville through to Chatswood) is Australia’s biggest public transport project providing trains every 10 minutes and will have a station at Westmead. Read more here.
In 2020 Construction started on the line that will connect Westmead Metro direct to Inner West (e.g. Five Dock, Glebe and Pyrmont) and the City (Victoria Cross, Barangaroo and Martin Place). Westmead Metro will have routes that go direct to the south west Sydneyas well as the Western airport line (Orchard Hills, Airport Business Park and St Mary’s.
